Destroy Data’s Secure Transportation Services
Destroy Data is certified by the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) for the secure and safe transport of military critical technical data, which means we are trusted by the highest echelon of the US Federal Government to transport their equipment to our facilities for destruction and demilitarization.
Our secure transportation services are designed to ensure that your data-bearing devices are handled with the utmost care and security from the moment they leave your premises until they reach their final destination for destruction or storage. Here’s how we guarantee the safety of your data:
Specialized Vehicles
We use vehicles equipped with advanced security features to transport your devices safely. These vehicles are monitored and controlled to prevent unauthorized access at all times.
Real-Time Tracking
Throughout the transportation process, we provide real-time tracking of your assets, allowing you to monitor their location and status in real-time, giving you complete peace of mind.
Chain of Custody
Our secure transportation service includes a detailed chain of custody documentation, ensuring full accountability from pick-up to delivery. This documentation is crucial for audits and regulatory compliance.
Tailored Shipping and Transportation Solutions for Every Project Size
At Destroy Data, we understand that every project has unique requirements, whether you’re handling a small batch of media or managing a more extensive operation. That’s why we offer customized shipping and transportation solutions to ensure the secure handling of your data from start to finish.
For smaller projects, Destroy Data provides military-grade hard cases equipped with combination locks and serialized closure tags. You simply fill the cases with the media to be destroyed, secure them with the provided locks and tags, and ship them back to us. Throughout the shipping process, you can track the cases in real-time. Upon arrival, a certified manager at Destroy Data will verify the contents and proceed with immediate destruction. A Certificate of Destruction is issued once the process is complete, ensuring you have documented proof of compliance.
For midsized projects, Destroy Data offers a more hands-on approach by sending our bonded and insured personnel to collect your media directly from your location. We ensure the highest level of security by offering interim destruction services such as crushing, pinning, or degaussing before transport. Once collected, your media is securely transported to our facilities, where final destruction takes place. We maintain strict security protocols throughout the process and provide a Certificate of Destruction upon completion.
